Before setting an impact, stiffness or processing target, we establish a simple incoming record. Melt flow, ash where relevant, colour, odour, visible contamination and a small processing check help show how wide the starting variation is.
Keep more than one incoming lot
Provide samples from at least two representative lots where possible, along with source description, current sorting and filtration, melt-flow data, formulation and finished application. The first modification plan should be robust enough for the variation the plant actually receives.
