A good part photograph makes a technical enquiry faster

A photograph cannot replace a drawing, physical part or test result, but it can quickly show gate position, rib layout, visible defects and approximate scale. Our engineers use it to decide which questions to ask before samples are shipped.

Useful photographs include the complete part, a close view of the defect and a side or section view where relevant. A ruler or known feature can provide scale, and a mark should show the moulding or machine direction.

Add the timing and production context

State whether the issue appears in the mould, immediately after ejection, after storage or in customer use. Include resin, cavity, current settings and what has already been tried. This prevents us from suggesting a test the plant has already completed.
